Free For All: The Public Librarytells the story of the quiet revolutionaries who made asimple idea happen. From the pioneering women behind the “Free Library Movement” to today’slibrarians who serve the public despite working in a contentious age of closures and book bans,meet those who created a civic institution where everything is free and the doors are open to all.
Please join us for a screening ofFree For All: The Public Library, directed by Dawn Logsdon and Lucie Faulknor, and learn how public libraries shaped the country and continue to be a sanctuary for all Americans. After the screening, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film.
Attendance is on a first-come basis. Film run time is 85 minutes.
